AXA invests in PER I

We’re proud to announce that AXA Investment Managers has invested in Pantheon and Pantheon’s first project, Pocosin Ecological Reserve I (PER I)—the first commercial peatland restoration project in the United States.
PER I spans 14,500 acres of drained pocosin peatlands in the Southeastern U.S.

Through rewetting and restoration, the project will:
✔️ Remove carbon from the atmosphere
✔️ Reduce catastrophic wildfire risk
✔️ Restore habitat for native and threatened species

We’re grateful to Pantheon’s newest Board Member, Adam Gibbon, as well as Edoardo Cavallo, Alexandre Martin-Min, and the rest of the AXA team for joining us on this journey to scale impactful nature-based climate solutions.
