Curtis J. Richardson is one of North America’s leading experts on wetlands and peatlands. He is Professor of Resource Ecology and founding Director of the Duke University Wetland Center, where for more than 40 years he has advanced research on nutrient dynamics, carbon sequestration, and ecosystem restoration. A Fellow of the AAAS, the Society of Wetland Scientists, and the Soil Science Society of America, he has shaped wetland science and policy in the U.S. and globally. His work ensures Pantheon’s projects are grounded in the highest standards of scientific rigor and deliver lasting climate, biodiversity, and water quality benefits.
